Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the HDA creation process, from the initial stages of prototyping and testing in Houdini to the advanced steps of integrating and refining the tool in Unreal Engine.
HS-236: Velocity Forces 2.0: Advanced
Students will walk away with a more complete understanding of volumes in Houdini, advanced VEX computations, and how to utilize powerful native nodes to generate more intricate motion in their simulations.
HS-235: Small Scale Fluids
You will leave the course with a better understanding of FLIP simulations for unique shot cases, including the advantages and disadvantages inherent in these scenarios.
HS-204: Forces: Building Custom Velocity Setups
Students should leave with a better understanding of how to begin building and implementing their own velocity flows for art directing simulations.
HS-119: Intro to Karma
Students will be able to create custom materials, lighting setups, and LOP Networks that can be saved and re-used in a flash. They will have acquired a solid foundation of the Karma rendering workflow and feel comfortable in the Solaris context.
HS-234: Mastering Constraints
Students will leave this course with a competent understanding of how constraints are used to gain the desired outcomes within their simulations.
