HS-233: Houdini FX in Unreal
Students will leave the course with a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of Realtime VFX, and how to seamlessly integrate Houdini and Unreal workflows to achieve stunning visual effects.
HS-232: BUILD YOUR BRAIN – Cell division in Houdini
Upon completion you will have a good understanding of how to tackle a complex shot in Houdini, combining various simulation and SOP-based techniques to mix it all together, as well as rendering a scene in Solaris using Redshift or Karma.
At the end of this course, you should walk away with a more clear understanding of which loops to use for your build task needs, as well as how to set up the nodes properly to keep your workflow efficient and functional.
HS-230: Effective TD
Students will leave this class with a peek into the world of an effective TD in the industry, and the importance of data management and optimization of systems to effectively ensure the lowest footprint on disk.
Students will leave this class with a better understanding of the underlying fundamentals of instancing, simple and easy techniques for speeding up the workflow, and creating and managing simple but effective HDAs in Houdini.
