HS-116: Working with Scientific Datasets in Houdini
Students will leave with a fundamental understanding of how to incorporate real scientific data into their Houdini scenes, and with Python starter code for accomplishing a few common data transformation tasks.
HS-211: Surface Advection
Students should leave with a better understanding of advection techniques, generating and extracting point attribute data, influencing flow directions, volume and particle simulating, as well as Redshift3D proxy export and instancing.
HS-112: Scientific Phenomena in Houdini
Students will leave this class with a fundamental understanding of how you can improve your VFX builds through an understanding of scientific application.
HS-203: Character Design and Modeling
Students will leave the class with a range of new techniques for designing and creating variations of original characters in Houdini and learning to use the program to quickly create new designs.
HS-209: Magical FX
After completing the course by recreating different magical FX cases, students will have a solid understanding of how to create efficient builds of at least 3 types of magical FX(magical dust, disintegration, portals).
HS-113: Simulated Creatures
You’ll come away from this class with an understanding of how simulation can enhance animation for organic creatures/objects and be able to evaluate methods of blending animation with simulation for different use cases.
